This piece was created for my “How to Turn Trash Into Art | Upcycled mixed media portraits” video. The thrifted landscape painting was layered with a printed vintage portrait, old perspective sketches I made in high school, and pages from a thrifted book on mechanical drawing. The subject floats through torn clouds of thought - numbers, angles, shapes - both dreamy and calculating.
