This piece was created for my “How to Turn Trash Into Art | Upcycled mixed media portraits” video. The thrifted art print was layered with cutouts from vintage floral wallpaper with a cracked gold leaf frame. The title is lifted from lyrics of Phoebe Bridgers' Garden Song. Growth takes you by surprise sometimes, peeking up through the cracks and finding a way to thrive.
