This piece was created for my “How to Turn Trash Into Art | Upcycled mixed media portraits” video. The thrifted landscape print was layered with a printed vintage portrait, antique wallpaper lifted from my studio ceiling during renovation, pattern paper, and gold leaf. Glamour and decay are one of my favorite combinations - and this feels like a moment of fallen beauty with a glimmer of hope.
