This piece was created for my “Prep with me for Market Day! | Mixed media art and painted leather handbags ” video. The thrifted art frame was layered with a printed vintage portrait, a rescued calendar poster, and pages from a thrifted book on mechanical drawing - with another layered portrait inside the frame. The smaller framed man feels a bit like a distant lover or a memory for the subject. The floor plans, bridges, foliage, and solar system in the collage pieces create a landscape of the places these two have been... and the spaces between them.
