This piece was created for my “Prep with me for Market Day! | Mixed media art and painted leather handbags ” video. The thrifted frame was adorned with gold leaf and filled with a printed vintage portrait layered with pages from a thrifted book on mechanical drawing, acrylics, and liquid gold leaf. The piece was inspired by Pat McGrath makeup for early 2000s Dior and the classic "vamp" stock character from the silent film era.
