This piece was created for my “I Reworked My Old Artwork... and other thrifted art” video. My high school swirls and drips painted on canvas were layered with a printed vintage portrait, vintage patterns, and acrylics. The transparency of the pattern paper and the watery washes of paint provide depth and complexity to the subject - whose features become one with his patterns.
